Parents of Applicants
If you are a Jefferies employee, your child is eligible, and your child wants to apply for a scholarship, then they need your help. To complete the parent’s portion prior to the deadline, please follow these steps.
- Ask your child to apply using the online form on the Jefferies Family Scholarship website or by clicking here. This page is visible to the public and can be found by searching for Jefferies Family Scholarship.
- After your child registers on the website and begins an application, they will find a question asking for their parent’s email address. They must enter your work email address in this box and click the send button. You will then receive an email with instructions about how to do your part.
- If you do not receive an email even though you are certain that your child has completed that portion of the application, please ask them to go back into the application to ensure they entered your email correctly. Last year, about 10% of applicants misspelled Jefferies.
- If you choose to complete the financial need portion, it is important that you use our organization name and code, which is highlighted at the bottom of the instructions document.

Jefferies Family Scholarship
The Jefferies Family Scholarship award offered me the opportunity to work in accord with others in a spirit of progressive cooperation in varied capacities, with reduced financial restraints. For this, my thankfulness is abundant. I will continue to be ever vigilant in aiding the general welfare of the community as I proudly embark on the journey of medical school. Thank you for your continued support and for playing a vital role in my academic and personal growth. I’m grateful for the chance the Jefferies Family Scholarship gave me to pursue goals that have given me confidence to try for the next. It has brought me one of the greatest medicines I hope to one day to administer to my patients.
