Jefferies Family Scholarship News

All Eligible Students Are Encouraged to Apply!
Children of Jefferies employees planning to attend an accredited institution full time (including the last two years of private high school, as well as college or university for both graduate and undergraduate studies) are eligible to apply for an award. Awards are for one academic year.

Help shape the future of JFS
In 2011, we raised $550,000 through our 30th Anniversary celebration and fundraiser, which included both a silent and live auction. We thank all our donors for their generosity and ask that each of you consider making a donation to the scholarship program in future years. Donating to the Jefferies Family Scholarship is an easy way to help make the high cost of college more affordable for many. Donors help ensure a future without limits for the children of Jefferies employees who receive an educational scholarship.   		• For the last two years, forty percent of JFS recipients' parents reported total family incomes under $100,000 and many of our scholarship winners are being raised by single parents.
  		• Nineteen percent of Jefferies' employees make less than $75,000 per year.
